This booklet, entitled 'Royal Aero Club of N.S.W. Yearbook 1936', relates to the club formed in 1926 as a social flying club located at Mascot. The Aero Club movement was sanctioned by the Federal Government as a potential source of pilots in the event of war. To support the movement ex-RAAF training aircraft, specifically the DH60 Moth were 'lent' to the aero clubs to assist their operations. This booklet provides information about the club, requirements for different categories of flying licence tests, advertisements, a map of NSW showing towns with licenced aerodromes and photographs including Mascot aerodrome, competition results and a register of aircraft in NSW as at 31 December 1935.
